Isam B Live on DR1 – I Danmark er Jeg Født – 30rd December 2007
English Translation:
I am born in Denmark, this is my home where I am rooted, from whence my world spring forth.
Oh Danish language: You are my mothers voice.
So sweetly blessed, you reach into my heart.
Oh Danish fresh beach, where by, the ancient giant mounds rise between appled trees and hop gardens
I love you,
Denmark, my fathering land!
Where makes summer, the flowerbed
more richly than here, towards the open beach?
Where rises the moon above the clovermeadow
as lovely as above the fatherland of the bough?
Oh danish, fresh beach,
where Danebrog waves, -
God gave it to us, – God giv victory to the best!
I love you! I love you, Denmark my fathering land.
Once you were master of the whole North
ruled England, – Now you are said to be weak,
a tiny country, but still so wide around the earth
the danish’s song and hammerblasts is heard.
Oh danish, fresh beach,
where the ploughing iron finds golden horns,
Gud give you future as he gave you memories!
I love you! – I love you!
Denmark my fathering land.

Because Denmark isn’t his native land nor his native language, also outlandish have always been about reaching people through their music and its meant to be universal, music in danish is specifically for danish people, he used to be hiphop and now hes just pop!!!

Man I thought Isam changed and left away his bad life of fame and fortune; I thought him and Outlandish were going to go Islamic. Man I tought better of him. It’s disappointing, that he reverted back to his bad way of life.
Inshallah he will become more of a better kind of person. A PERSON WITH MORALS; NOT THE POP STAR ABOVE.
I’ll make Dua to Allah that he gives him Hediath, in any way, if that will hurt him or give him some relisation.

Abdul Hasib: Outlandish is not an Islamic band and they wont be, they dont want to be labeled like that and i think they are right. also Lenny is practising Catholic. so how can you think that they should be Islamic? they make Life Music not Islamic. yeah some of their songs have Islamic subjects in it but they dont make those songs because they want to be an Islamic band, they make those songs because Islam is what inspires them. also there is nothing wrong with what Isam B is doing. he doesnt have dancing girls around him, he doesnt sing about blings, cars, girls or guns. he is singing about his country. you cant compare him with other pop stars. if you didnt like Isam B’s style, then wait until Outlandish release their next album in summer.
Salaams.

We are millions of migrants, refugees or exiles, of many different ages and from many places – and this song speaks to each of us. God bless humanity.

nice song
but he born in Denmark&he lived there
that means that he loved the country where he born
there’s nothing wrong that he loved his country
if his own country didnot give him wat denmark give him so I think he felt that he belong to ..
thanks for the song

His country (Morocco) doesn’t have to give him anything in order for him to sing for it.
he’s the one who’s supposed do something for his country.
Yet I think this song was good however since he was born in Denmark
And there’s nothing wrong with it of course
Salam
